This depends on the part of the North East you plan to visit. If you want to go to Meghalaya, try to arrange a package between October and April. Again for Assam, November to March is the best time. If your North East tour package is focused on Arunachal Pradesh, October to April is ideal.

North East is a vast place. You can only complete part of the North East in a single trip. You’ll have to arrange for separate tour packages. The quote given by the Northeast tour was reasonable compared to the Bangalore tour operators. Have booked 5 nights and 6 days with Northeast tour, against the wishes of my family . They all said, am taking a risk. We four landed in Bagdogra on 12th March, were will received by Northeast person and our tour began. Northeast tour people were very efficient in arranging right hotels, tours and transport. Vikas Gupta was very good at planning the tour and reverts in no time. Only 1 complaint about lachung and lachen about vehicle we were 8 people and we got only one sumo max for this terrific journey.
One more thing but it was not related to north east tour its all about hotel fortuna . Plz note you dont have nonveg food option in fortuna.
